SKL Millions Event 2024
There were to be flowers not just for the winner, but for all the candidates this spring. The island of Mainau with its floral splendour was the perfect and unique backdrop for the 2-day lucky event. The participants in the SKL Millions game have been eagerly awaiting the draw and this very special experience for a quarter of a year.
The SKL Millions event is accompanied by a camera team and press photographers. These production teams were on site in advance to make the necessary technical and organizational preparations. Jörg Pilawa accompanied the days as the lucky godfather and played the balls with presenter Eric Schroth during the program. This combination made for a lot of fun and created the hoped-for VIP feeling.
Our hotel was picturesquely located directly in Constance on the shores of Lake Constance. In great anticipation, the first evening began with a welcome dinner in the hotel’s Dominican parlour. At the end, the candidates were presented with their welcome gifts.
After a common breakfast, the island of Mainau and its treasures awaited the lucky contestants the next day. Following an individual tour of the flower gardens and sights, the first game took place on the Grand Duke Friedrich Terrace.
In 2 rounds of games, 15 out of 20 participants were gradually eliminated and won cash prizes of between 1,500 and 3,000 euros. After so many exciting activities, a lunch in the chestnut garden provided refreshment for the exciting afternoon ahead..
The finalists were determined on board during a boat trip on the beautiful Lake Constance. The 3 eliminated candidates received 10,000 euros. Even the ship’s crew joined in the excitement. Back at the hotel, it was time to rest up for the grand finale with the drawing of the new SKL millionaire. The tension was now at its peak among the finalists.
For one, the dream has come true! The new millionaire was duly celebrated with golden confetti and champagne. Of course, the press photos with Jörg Pilawa and Eric Schroth were not to be missed. The gala dinner in the lakeside restaurant was the crowning glory of this auspicious adventure.
Not as millionaires, but definitely as winners, all participants travelled home the next day from this exclusive trip of fortune.
