Cape Town – the pearl of South Africa.
4 exclusive days with top-class highlights ranging from adventure and nature experiences to indulgence. Demanding, but at the same time emotionally moving. Our home base was in the heart of Cape Town, on the fashionable VA Waterfront with a view of the marina and Table Mountain. The perfect starting point for discovery tours.
A highlight right at the start: Howzit! – Official welcome at the top of Table Mountain. There was a sense of freedom on the way up in stylish vintage sidecars, which were waiting at the hotel as a surprise for all guests. Amazing! That was a smart introduction to everything that was to come.
Our first lunch was served at a cruise on the Mirage – South Africa’s largest private catamaran. Set sail for the ultimate yachting experience.
With such a tight adventure program, we spent the first evening ‘simply’ on the waterfront.
The Cape of Good Hope is legendary – and our means of transport to get there on day 2 were even more legendary. As a further surprise, 17 Cobras in the usual colourful spectrum were ready for the journey to the fabulous Chapman’s Peak Drive. In these sports cars, the bends can be celebrated in style.
After a cosy picnic in the vineyards, it was off to the speedboat – jump in and hold on tight! With a view of the mountain range, get in direct contact with the marine world. Say hello to penguins, seals and whales. Sundowner delights and dinner at a lodge at Chapman’s Peak near Hout Bay, Cape Town’s hidden gem. In such a dream location, the guests also had one wish and were allowed to leave it in the care of the sea. On day 3, there was a choice of sporting challenges such as hiking and mountain biking or admiring the colours of the Bo Kaap. Colourful freedom – history, tradition, lifestyle … – authentically tangible with your hands while cooking in Mama’s kitchen.
From midday, it’s off to the glorious beach of Camps Bay, with its natural rock pool and framed by the Twelve Apostles mountain range. A trip like this is always crowned by the feast to the taste buds of South Africa’s culinary landscape. Multicultural flavours in numerous world-class restaurants, of course also here on the beach.
In the evening, fine dining with modern, industrial elegance and say goodbye to the sun from the 6th floor in Woodstock. Trendy, casual and highly professional. Exquisite fusion cuisine from Asia and South Africa, not for nothing among the 50 best restaurants worldwide. As the icing on the cake, we naturally always ensured that the decorations and customized menus matched the ambience of our customers and the locations. On top of that, this invited all to collect souvenirs …
Good wine – no question in South Africa. That’s why wine tasting is a must. But there’s more. We fly in helicopters from Cape Town to Stellenbosch.
Here, the young, multi-award-winning winemaker gave us an insight into the art of winemaking, and we were able to convince ourselves of the quality of the wine. To round things off, we crossed over to the beautiful Lanzerac wine estate, an icon of the Winelands, where we spent our last night and enjoyed an exclusive farewell dinner with an exciting show.
Many have tears of joy in their eyes.
This time we have exceeded our client’s vision.
