Autodesk shows us the future of AIF 2019.
The Automotive Innovation Forum (AIF) is the world’s leading event for the automotive industry, focusing on advances in design, visualization and manufacturing technologies. So, it’s pretty much future music – and it’s clear that we’re part of it! This was the second time that we had the privilege of planning and implementing this forward-looking, two-day event for our client Autodesk.
The first day started with national and international keynote presentations. Of course, the chief designers of innovative start-ups from China and the USA were not to be missed. Collaborate, Innovate, Experience – these were the three keywords of the event. The three topics were explored in depth in a wide range of presentations, which were attended by the crème de la crème of the global automotive industry.
Listening is good but discussing afterwards is better. That’s why there were numerous networking areas at the Hilton Hotel at Munich Airport. The location was chosen with the international, busy participants in mind – perfect connections and little time required. From the gangway, so to speak, the participants went directly to the event – and on foot.
The concept was rounded off by a varied exhibition area where the innovations from Autodesk and partners could be shown and experienced. The highlight for everyone was the all-electric sport utility vehicle – the NIO ES8. Future music to touch, and so not “back to the future”.
